Aubrey Gaines Schmidt. Aubrey was born to Dennis and Terri Schmidt on
May 6, 2003. Terri is one of the Children’s Advocacy Center’s

Will, were so very proud to announce Aubrey’s arrival in their
family. |

She was their
perfect little angel sent from heaven above, but all too soon that
little angel was called back to heaven. She left this world
on June 12, 2003. Life without Aubrey has been a
heart-breaking time for Terri, Dennis, Will, and all those that
love them so well. |

It is the Children’s Advocacy Center’s hope that the Schmidt
family will always know that Aubrey lives on in the hearts of many
children that have been helped because of her. This family has
been very passionate about fighting child abuse in Johnson County. |

The Children’s
Advocacy Center established an Aubrey Schmidt Memorial fund in June of
2003. This fund continues to touch the lives of many children. It
has helped to buy children reading glasses that they could not
afford. It has paid for medication, visits to the dentist, shoes,
clothes, groceries, heaters, and many other things. Countless hugs
and smiles have come about because of Aubrey. Her life continues to
make the difference in the lives of many children that are in need.
Aubrey’s family also continues to be involved in the fight against
abuse. We hope this month that you will help us to celebrate the life
of Aubrey with her family, and that you will help us continue her
legacy by becoming involved in the fight against child abuse. |
