Important News from the Children's Advocacy Center Board President

If you suspect a child is being abused, you are legally required to report it to your local law enforcement agency or to Child Protective Services.  If a report is made in good faith, there is no risk to the reporter of being prosecuted if abuse is ruled out.  When you call the CPS hotline, you may remain anonymous, but please report if you think a child is in danger.

CALL US FOR OUR WISH LIST!

Talk to your children about not keeping secrets, and make sure they understand the private parts of their body where no one is to touch.  Let them know who they can go to for help when you aren't around.

You can also learn about being a volunteer at the Children's Advocacy Center.  We always need assistance with fund raising events, mass mailings, answering phones, and having caring adults sit with child victims as they go through the intake and interview process at the center.

You can contribute to the center by providing toys, snack foods, or cash donations.  The Children's Advocacy Center is a 501(c)(3) non-profit agency that relies very heavily on community donations.

Please click here to fill out our form to "Get Involved".  Be sure to choose one of three choices - donation, volunteer or mailing list...  or all three!  Mail the form to our offices at:

910 North Granbury Street
Cleburne, TX  76033

or fax to our offices at

817-556-3020

Someone will contact you as soon as we receive your information.  Thank you.
