Help Us Help Children!

Without the generous support of the community, the Children's Advocacy Center would not be able to serve the abused and neglected children of Johnson County, therefore any donations are very gratefuly received.

WAYS TO GIVE:

Child- related donations: Please call the Advocacy Center for the latest WISH LIST of items needed by the children.

Cowboys for Kids: Cowboys for Kids is our annual and ONLY fundraiser for the children we serve. Every April, the Children's Advocacy Center and the Sheriff's Department of Johnson County have a two day western themed weekend of activities called Cowboys for Kids. The activities include a gala with live and silent auctions, a children's stick horse rodeo, and a Professional Bull Riding event. We are always accepting in-kind donations of items for our live and silent auctions or you can go to www.cowboysforkids-jc.org for information about becoming a sponsor for the event. In addition, we frequently need volunteers to help staff the events. Contact the Center today if you are interested in helping with our Cowboys for Kids event.

Special Tributes: Your gift In Memory or In Honor of a Loved One can help the children we serve.

Endowment: The Endowment for the Johnson County Children's Advocacy Center is an investment opportunity into the lives of the children who will continue to need our assistance long after we are able to provide it. The goal for the Endowment is to have enough money so that the center can be run and maintained on interest genereated by the fund. The Board of Directors feels such an urgent need to make sure that the center NEVER has to close due to a loss of federal or state grant income, that we have pledged to donate at least ten percent of every fundraiser to the endowment. If you would like to donate to our endowment fund, please click the donate button or send a check to the Center with endowment in the memo line.

Planned Giving: A planned gift is a charitable gift that is integrated into your overall financial and estate plans. Planned gifts can provide tax savings to you and your estate while giving a significant gift to the Johnson County Children’s Advocacy Center.
Planned Gifts Include: Wills and bequets, life insurance, annuities, IRA's or Retirement plan beneficiary, large capital gifts of cash, appreciated stock, and/or mutual funds, or real estate.

Please contact the Children's Advocacy Center today if you are interested in assisting with any of the above items.
